Services for Individuals

Inherited a collection of Japanese prints and not sure where to start? Interested in selling but unsure of the value and current market for your works? Simply want to learn more about what you have? Madison offers a suite of services for you and your collection of Japanese prints.

Print Identification, Research, & Cataloging

Madison will research, assess condition and quality, catalog, and contextualize her findings in an accessible format that allows you to make informed decisions. While many galleries offer “free valuations,” they have a vested interest in acquiring artwork at low cost. Since a print's value is affected by condition, edition, provenance, and more, it is important to understand the value of your impression. As an independent consultant Madison’s sole responsibility is to educate the client on their artwork and the current market conditions so together we can come up with a strategy to maximize value.
